Graduation will be held on May 18th. It will begin promptly at 4PM inside the Pontchartrain Center (located at 4545 Williams Boulevard in Kenner).

Each student will receive eight tickets to the ceremony. Due to seating capacity, we regret that we will be unable to honor any requests for extra tickets. Please have your student request extra tickets from peers who will not be using all of theirs.

Tickets will be distributed at graduation practice only.

The Talented Theatre Department Proudly Presents

We Won’t Pay! We Won’t Pay! by Dario Fo

A no-nonsense housewife, Antonia, is forced into joining a rebellious crowd of women at the local grocery store.  The women, fed up with merciless price gouging have succumbed to liberating food due to poverty and a government conspiracy against the working class.   As the police begin to search the neighborhood for the stolen goods, Antonia enlists the help of her best friend Margherita to hide the goods by masquerading her as a pregnant woman.  A wild comic sequence of events explodes when Antonia’s factory worker husband, Giovanni, falls for the lies created by the wives about the pregnancy and stolen goods.

We Won't Pay! We Won't Pay! is a side-splitting, chaotic comedy of errors.  Think classic I Love Lucy meets The Honeymooners. “At the heart of all the high-jinx is a basic human need – hunger – and the very human desire to satisfy that need with one's dignity intact.”

Grace King actors, Alexandra Van Patten and David Dobie star as Antonia and Giovanni, joined by a talented ensemble including Charles Riggin, Emily Brashear, Kyle Kuchler, Marcus Jones and Kyra Rogers.

We Won’t Pay! We Won’t Pay! is produced in cooperation with Samuel French Inc., New York City.
